the problem you run into here is that the TP at work is never as soft as the hometurf...

I once had a really nice internship at a prominent company in San Antonio. They essentially hired me, stuck me in a cubicle, and forgot about me. I read books all day.

So I discovered that 90% of the staff used the bathrooms on the first floor. They were nicer, had those new (at the time) auto hand dryers that were motion activated, and had soap that foamed and rinsed clean. The bathroom next to me, however, only had a couple stalls, one of those old cloth roller thingies to dry your hands, and a bottle of dial sitting on an old cracked sink. I loved that bathroom.

I would go into work, crack open the book I was working on that day, and read until I needed to go. Then I would situate myself in the handicapped stall (regular ones are for weirdos) and do my business in style. I brought in air freshener from home, I used my own TP, and I even had a nice little picture I hung on the stall door. It was like a second home.

The real revelation for me came when I realized how to work their weird timed light switch things. From that day on, I never left the stall. Would take my book in there, turn off the lights, and set up shop. I would read by candle light all day in that serene, tile covered room. The soothing sounds of flushing from different floors would help me mark the passage of time. And if the random person wanted to come in, they would open the door and find the lights off. Since nobody knew how to operate the lights, they just moved on to the "better" bathroom downstairs. Fools, all of them.

It was a little slice of heaven, I tell you.

Well, I dump daily on company time, and work 5 days per week. So I can safely say I dump 5 times every week.
