Have a friend down near there. He's been posting pics on facebook that are incredible. It's really bad down there.

Yeah....we had a nice storm roll through the metroplex yesterday that unfortunately just missed the big fires out west of Fort Worth. Hundreds of thousands of acres of scorched earth out there right now. Lots of homes destroyed, lost livestock, and relocated families. Volunteer fire fighters from multiple states are out there trying to help, but they really haven't been able to contain it.

More rain in the forecast the rest of the week, so definitely hoping it hits over in that area too.

This whole part of the country needs rain.
Wash your car, leave your sunroof open, water the lawn, do whatever it takes to get some rain.
