I just think we have lost a lot of confidence in the last couple of weeks. Both in batting and pitching. Other than Rocha, there has been WAY too much inconsistency/bad errors/poor hitting by veteran players. A lot of players are slumping at the wrong time.

On the bright side, I do think this team can rebound rather quickly. Also, baseball is all about getting hot at the right time. Which means being excellent from mid-May through July. Just my 2 cents tho.

Shore finaly seems over his injuries and last night even though we lost we only gave up three runs. Duke last outing was not what I expect to see from him the rest of the year. Mayfeild I think is getting some time off and will be back to form. Your pitching holds the other team to 3 in a game with metal bats you should win. Only two tonight is a good outing even against this team. A couple of time where the pitching looked bad it was after errors extended the inning. I think our pitching will carry us deep into post season. Of course if they fall apart this weekend I delete this and pretend I never said it.

I just don't know anymore. I'll still support them and hope for the best, but this team is a major disappointment. Instead of worrying about hosting a regional, or even making a regional, I'm starting to worry about making the Big-12 tournament. Seriously, right now we suck.
