Really thought this list got them all correct - much better than the beer list.

"Bob Stoops ran a fake punt with a 40 point lead against ISU in 2002."

saw this in one of the comments, don't recall it myself, does anyone else?

Nope but don't forget, they were ranked top 10 and had Seneca Wallace at QB. If you are top 10 team then don't put yourself in a position to have a fake punt ran against you w/ a 40 point lead. That's the way I see it anyway.

So OU has no "credibility" with the "critics?"
Thats just stupid

Texas: Led Zeppelin. Stock, thoughtless answer to the question "who is the greatest classic rock (Big 12) team of all time?" Popular, and with good reason, but their most ardent fans never seem to know **** about any other bands/teams. 2006 National Title game is the football version of Stairway.
Texas is the greatest big 12 team of all time? Seriously? By what standard - money?

They beat Texas last year. I know it's hard to comprehend, but that's why they have to hate us more.

Ummm, well, I'm guessing you missed the "Stock, thoughtless" part of what actually said.

Did you notice the "stock, thoughtless answer" part of that description? I means folks who don't know or think much about the Big XII just blurt it out.

Texas is no Led Zepplin. Led Zepplin would never go 5-7.

More like Queen, because their sooooo gay. Maybe not...Queen is much cooler than UT.

I would have thought it was absolutely clear that OU = The Rolling Stones. All you really have to do is listen to the first few seconds of Start Me Up.

Come to think of it, we could use a different Stones tune for the team's introduction each home game and not go wrong.

I wouldnt compare texas to a rock band...... It would be somewhere between boy george and weird al yankovic.

A$M is spot on.

The KState bit offends my Van Halen fandome. KState should be Motley Crue who started crumbling before replacing their lead singer, got him back after an intervening leader, and still suc. I don't think Ron Prince is equal to Sammy Hagar.

Maybe Teaxas should be the Bee Gees? No, the Bee Gees are to good. Abba? Is Frankie Goes to Hollywood old enough? I mean, that *** clown used the Wallflowers.

It wasn't really about the Wallflowers as much as it was about Bob Dylan (Pickens).

the 80's was a cruel master. not even jamming (well, apparently) with Hendrix inna day could save Billy from that public cred suicide.
