I got drenched today. It is still very unseasonable weather for Thailand. Just after I got off the skytrain today and started to walk to my condo. It was one of those downpours that you just wish you were at an open air beer bar at a seaside resort and watching the rain and surf and chugging on a few beers. Unfortunately, I am 50 miles from the sea with no beer bars in sight.

For a while, I was stuck under an awning with about 20 other people who were trying to figure out how wet they would get and the odds were that within a couple seconds, that question wouldn't be relevant anymore. Luckily, the awning was right in front of a 7-Eleven and guess what, the 7-Eleven sells umbrellas. So, I buy one and head towards home, still thinking about beer. It immediately stops raining, but I still have to contend with the flooding part and my shoes and socks and feet got wet. Socks and feet are okay, shoes not so much and will smell when I wear them tomorrow.

I talked with my mom tonight and she said that she just got home from the evening service at church and it just started to rain. She said that there was more thunder and lightening than actual rain. I wish you guys would have gotten my rainstorm.

And all I get is snow.

Our cabin at the 5800' level has received over 15 feet of snow this winter....and higher areas in the area have had over 65'. California is sitting on 176% of our water needs and the drought here is essentially now over.

If you buy the beer the Posse will water for ya.
