No clue. I don't think anyone will know until May when grades/ACT comes out. Multiple people have said he's "on track" FWIW.

I'm wondering how many times his last name will be mispronounced this fall.

This, despite what anyone says. May, and no earlier.

I say "meteor" and I am 100% certain that is nowhere close to being right.

It's actually pronounced "Muh-Twire," but I bet we'll get lots of different versions before he's done.

I saw somewhere before that it is pronounced MET-wire.
That's close to Mississippi's pronunciation.

My uncle Fred's housekeeper's hair stylist's grandad is a barber for a guy that says his cousin lives next door to them, and they call him Trey. . . . . . ;)

I heard that "don't redshirt him, he's too talented, we'll only have him three years!" garbage about Bomar, Tennell and Jarboe as well. Why don't we hold off on predicting where his statue's gonna be placed for now? :)

if you'll notice, i said, If he's as good as we all HOPE he is.

don't you HOPE he's too good to "redshirt" ??

surprisingly, neither you nor i will have the responsibility for this decision.

I'm wondering how many times his last name will be mispronounced this fall.

So, somebody help me out here. I'm probably screwing up his last name myself. Can someone who knows the correct pronunciation please spell it for me phonetically? Thanks.

And he got this nickname b/c of eating off of one in the living room? Or b/c he could shoot from long range?

I can just see the Headline in the Austin American-Statesman the day after the Red River Rivalry:

Metoyer looks like yet another unpronounceable, but unique, French word.

This site claims that OK has 0 Metoyers. If he enroles at OU he becomes a piece of OK history.
