I live in Conroe and the newspaper I work for has covered this extensively. It's amazing he only lost an eye. He's a hero, and so are the officers who took down the shooter.
When he went to the Conroe PD Wednesday, Officer Kellemen was greeted by about 30 of his fellow officers all wearing eye patches.
He seems like a very cool and funny guy. Glad he's still with us.
