If you watched CNN in the 80's & 90's (or Showtime Boxing in the 2000's) you remember/know him. Long read, but WELL worth the time.

Man, I can't read about Nick Charles. Any human being would be stirred by his story, but as a boxing fan that makes it even tougher. HBO gave him the opportunity to call the opening fight on their card a couple of weekends ago and it was awesome to see.

God I hate this disease. I just buried someone a few weeks back due to it.

This is hard to watch.

Most cancers are cureable/treatable if caught early.

It only works if people get tested. (Big hint, hint.)
