I realize this is the football board but I wanted everyone to be aware that for the first time since 1996, the Aggies are coming to L. Dale Mitchell tomorrow (Tuesday) evening at 6:30. If you happen to be one of those that hates baseball, come out anyway and focus that hatred on the orange and black on the field. A large crowd would be sweet to see. Come out and see Buechele, Bushyhead and the boys take care of the Ags! Thank you for your time.

Tickets are $10 at the gate or you can buy them online, which I would recommend as they are expected a large crowd tonight. I bought my wife a GA ticket online last night and they charge a $3 fee. Don't understand why however, it beats standing in line at the ticket window. You can choose the option to print your tickets at home or pick up at the will call window.

Here's the link to the online site.

Hope to see all of you there!

In the mid-90's things started getting a little out of hand at the home venues. I believe it was in '96 that the OU team bus had to have a police escort out of Stillwater after a brawl. Starting that next season they started playing the games in Tulsa and OKC. Last year they renewed the home venue matchups with a non-conference game in Stillwater and this year it is in Norman. The plan is to play every year with the team that doesn't host Texas at home getting to host the non-conference game.

Little history lesson....

The big twelve conference schedule for baseball consists of 3-game series' with each opponent, usually alternates years for home and home. Well, with osu, it's different.... we play the at games neutral sites with the Friday night game in Tulsa, and the Saturday and Sunday games in OKC at the Brick. Back in the 90's we also scheduled 2 extra bedlam games that were actually non-conference games, with one played in Norman and one in Stillwater.

After '96 we dropped the 2 non-conference games and just had the Tulsa/OKC games... but now we are re-adding one non-conference game per year, with this year's non-con game being in Norman and next year's being in Stillwater.
