Waiting on that first pitch, and as of now.... the Chicago Cubs have been mathmatically eliminated from playoff contention.:D

Cancel the rest of the season, the dodgers are tied for 1st.

Broxton got a save. to me, (i'm a fan of him) it's excruciating to watch him pitch. he (to me) has no confidence & has gotten to the point where he can't get any Ks.

i (partially) blame joe torre. he let Broxton complete ONE inning that took 49 pitches. way too many hitters get 8 to 10 pitch at bats. maybe his lucky inning last nite will bolster his confidence. I hope.

Welp...sad the Cardinals lost, but glad the Rangers won....Nice way to start the season with a win of the Red Soxs
