But Im wondering how many of you have Kids or pets named for a Sooner Great or Sooner Traditions

I have a son inspired by a Sooner National Champion (leaving it out to protect kids identity)

and I have a dog named Boomer....I'll bet there are tons of dogs named Boomer

We've been doing that for years. We sometimes name our pets after Sooner players and sometimes after Oklahoma towns. It's usually pretty easy just based off their personalities when they are young.

Yeah I had a good friend named Aidan, with an A, the traditional spelling. He passed away when we were younger. My wife liked that name too. Neither of us are Sex and the City fans, we just picked it because we thought it was neat and because we could call him AD. :D When we chose that name about 90% of our friends said "Oh, like Aiden on SATC!?!" We're both like "NO, Aidan David, like AD!" It was either that or Owen after Owen feild but Owen Wilson ruined that for us.

Oh and folks "BFF" means "Best Friend Forever" I believe. Only the cool KIDS say it.. lol! I thought at first it means "Best F'n Friend", but it doesn't. :eek:

And no, her BFF isn't THIS Adrianna.... though I wish it were!
