Did anyone else see that Rich Rodriguez was at OU's football practice today wearing an OU shirt that the coaches are usually wearing? Its toward the end of the pics on soonersports

I he felt the need to show our guys how to run-block like WVU did, I wouldn't hold a grudge against him. :D

Actually I think you're on to something. There is a video of the WRs practicing run-blocking today. Go figure.

His trademark offense is a no-huddle run-oriented spread formation. OUr staff, under KW, has crafted a pretty decent no-huddle offense that is pass-first but also balanced with a potent rushing attack, especially with the introduction of the diamond formation (with Murray gone, we have to hope it was due to scheme and not personnel and that the Sooners can continue to rack up rushing yardage). On the surface it would seem the last thing OU needs is advice from Rich Rod unless he can help with the short yardage and red zone or first-and-goal situations.

So the guess is he was paid a consultant's fee to observe and presumably, offer advice with OUr WR's?

Now interpret his wearing a shirt similar to those of the coaching staff. Was that to minimize any distraction his presence might cause the players, an attempt at camouflage that no one else would notice him on the practice field or was it just a perk thrown in with his consulting fee?

This Pat White video always cracked me up. WV is stomping a mudhole in Pitt's arse, and he's making fun of their Panther growl:

I get the sense there is special focus, energy, in the program about a real NC run.

Every year at the University of Oklahoma there is the possibility of a 'real' NC run. ;)

Nah you are making it harder than it is. I loaned him the shirt after he sprayed my yard. He'll be back later to work on the flower beds. :D
