Wats sup?

My husband has a sure fire way to get rid of the grown kids. He pulls me on his lap and stuff right in front of them.

The last two times he has done this, there was a full moon.

My son was almost 2 weeks overdue, I was miserable, and I didn't think he was ever going to be born. I sat in my OB's office, whining and begging him to induce labor. He said he didn't think it was time for that yet, and the baby would be born when he was ready.

He then glanced down at the big calendar on his desk. It had the moon phases printed really small on some of the days. He said, "Hey look, in about 5 days there will be a full moon. If your still pregnant after that, we'll induce." I just bawled and cursed him for being a superstitious idiot all the way to the car.

Sho 'nuf, woke up at 6 am the morning of the full moon, in labor. Got to the hospital around 7 pm or so as the contractions got closer. The labor wing was empty, maybe one or 2 others. Finally had my son at 3:00 am (by C-section, I tell him he was forcibly evicted, little booger did NOT want to leave!), and as I'm being wheeled back to my room, I see big bellies everywhere, even a gurney in the hall had a mom-to-be. I asked what was going on, and the nurse just said--"Full moon, happens all the time, practically set your watch by it."

I wonder if the birth rate spiked with THAT moon?!?!!??!
