UFC plugging Demarco

I'm watching the UFC fight right now, and they've been plugging Demarco heavily throughout the night. He's at the fight now, and they've shown him a couple of times as well. Hopefully this brings him some extra votes for the NCAA cover.

Didn't he do a segment awhile back with Erin Andrews about his off-season MMA training? DeMarco's really gotten into MMA over the past couple of years. Would love to see DeMarco throw down in a real match.

Yeah he did.
And someone told me a few weeks ago that the owner of UFC had "tweeted" about DM and was talking about how awesome he is (it was during the combine).

Serious note though...I believe the segment DM did he mentioned how the UFC type workouts had really helped in flexibility, etc......and I can't seem to find anyway to dispute his claims...he looked really good this year.

correct... the fertitta brothers(owners of the ufc) are vegas guys... and demarco has been attending ufc shows in vegas since he was a kid... they've known him since he was in junior high or highschool...

According to wikipedia he is an alum but according to his bio he is an atheist so you might be right on that because I don't think an atheist would attend a religious school like Bishop Gorman.
