They've been looking real good since the trade. Harden is really starting to come along.

Perk is not bad either...

Our defense is getting better....of course Perk helps that.

Perk brings a little championship swagger, but he backs it up with a good work ethic. There are more shots for Harden now that Green is gone. I loved Jeff, but this trade is looking better and better.

I am excited to see how we end up. Once we learn how to win those super physical, hard fought games that are one in the last 10 seconds - we will be ready for whoever!

Just lost at home to a team that hadn't won on the road since January 5th.

Pisses me off that we not only lost to 20-49 Toronto at home, but they swept us this season. They ****ing suck. The schedule was set up nicely to put some good distance on Denver and maybe (that's a big maybe) catch up to Dallas, but we can't be pulling this kind of **** if we want to do that. Guess we're locked into the 4 seed unless we have any more clunkers.

I heard it on the radio, it sounded like Kendrick lost a rebound?

Geez, what a clunker of a game, we really have not done that in a while...

The bad news is....the Thunder tend to look over inferior opponents and play down to their competition.

The good news is....in the playoffs, we will be playing good teams. The gave the world champs from L.A. all they wanted and more last year.

That being said....I can't ****ing stand this sleeping through games against "meh" opponents. I know they are mostly young, but they have to realize that this is the NBA. Any team can beat you if you don't show up. People paid good money to show up to see them beat an inferior opponent. Instead, they embarrassed themselves and let down the folks in the stands.

Pride. Don't forget to have some every time you step on the floor.

pretty bad loss last night, but kinda hard to complain after coming off a 6 game winning streak

OKC up 4 games with 11 to play. The trail Dallas by 3.

Remaining schedule:

Home

Portland
Golden State
Clippers
Denver
Bucks

Road

PHX
Portland
Clippers
Denver
Lakers
Kings

Would be good to go 8-3 down the stretch and finish at 55-27.

Aside from the Lakers, every one of those games are winnable. But Denver really worries me, they're getting hot at the right time.

Lets see if we can close out this Portland game and put another matchstick in the win column

And we did. Win number 48 on the season.

I think the Thunder getting hot at the right time too. Haven't we only lost two games since the trade? What is the Nuggets record since the trade?

Think they are something like 11-5 and we are 14-2.

We lost at Memphis before Perk was playing and of course the Toronto loss at home.

The Raptor loss is the most WTF...We could have used that extra win...

Since the trade, the Thunder are giving up 95.7 points per game. Previously they were giving up over 100 per. Since Perk joined the starting lineup, they have given up 91.1 points per game. Really like the team defense we are playing since the trade.

The Raptor loss is the most WTF...We could have used that extra win...:mad:I agree....and Perk said after the Utah game that one thing the team needs to learn to do is play with focus consistently. I had to edit as we had a couple losses right after the deal (Orlando without any of the players and the Lakers here at home).

Could we have used the win that much? I mean, we're not catching LA/Dallas, and Portland/Denver ain't catching us, barring a meltdown of some sort.

I hated that loss but hey - we are 12-2 in March. :)

A question was asked on an NBA show on ESPN tonight: "....can OKC Thunder upset the SA Spurs in a series?"

Tim Legler tonight on ESPN: "Oklahoma City is the second best team in the West."

Legler went as far to say that he thinks OKC will win a second round series over SA unless SA gets fully healthy. He also talked about us being the only real contender for LA as it sits right now because of the depth inside we have. Really exciting to see the love we are getting considering just two years ago we started the season 3-29....amazing.

Did not deserve to win tonight, but put another in the win column.

Without that retard of an inbounds pass we could have done it without overtime. Good job Thunder keeping their poise down the stretch, coming from a couple down in the last min.

Yeah, that was kind of an embarrassing finish to regulation, but whatevs...one win away from last season's total with 9 games to go.

that's the kind of situation that would've led to a loss last year

Quik Sand

Tonight is a dangerous spot. Back to back after an OT game, a good distance traveled. PHX and GS are nearly mirror images with their style of play. Neither goes inside really and they just gun it from anywhere.

A road win in this situation would be a sweet way to match last season's win total. Like Partial Q mentioned, last night's game was one we found a way to lose last year. They made so many mistakes down the stretch yet made enough plays to win. I think they do the same tonight and win a close game.

Win number 50! Really impressive tonight considering the circumstances. Way to take care of business.

50-24.

@ Portland tonight. Portland is in must win mode now as they have fallen to the 7 seed. Hopefully we play well tonight and creep closer to Dallas.
