There is a Pho restaurant in Bangkok and it is the awesome. It is so popular that you have to book well in advance if you want lunch there. They first bring these baskets with various veggie leaf stuff in it. It is just amazing to me to be able to taste the various veggie leaves and really taste them for what they add to a meal. Then they bring out the crab cakes cooked on a bamboo skewer and rice paper and their hot sauce. You tear off a little of the crab cake, throw in a leaf from the basket or two and smother it in hot sauce and roll the rice paper up to make the taste buds explode with joy.

I don't know if the Pho restaurants are like that at all. But if they are, I salute you for such excellent taste.

I aint eatin at no Phoking restaurant, when I can prolly make the Phoking stuff better at Phoking home

You guys are deliberately mean. I don't love you anymore. If Pho King is not to your standard you denigerate and insult. I have never eaten at Pho King himself so I really can't comment. If Pho King is the same as Pho Bangkok then it is pretty good.

I picked a few leaves of kale from the garden this afternoon, blanched them, then sauteed them with some leeks, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and a bit of lemon.

Ate with some shrimp and cocktail sauce.

It was phoking good.
