Who wants to guess my score? I could shoot between 89-95 before i stopped (had kids). I'm gonna keep score, for realz, no mulligans.

the course is lined with houses...on, like, every hole.

I played for the first time after my rotator cuff surgery last week. Surprisingly, I shot a 99 on a pretty tough course. I am typically a 105 golfer.

I will guess 87.

I'm guessing you shoot a 112

I'm playing tomorrow for the first time this year. I hit some balls twice this week and couldn't believe how sore I was the following day. I'm getting old!

Too many variables and not enough info. Are you playing old or new clubs? Using Pro V1's or Noodles?

Everyone knows that Pro V1's improve your game by at least five strokes.

I lose all my pro v's. I change to a noodle (or something cheap) and will use one ball for 18 holes. Go figure! Of course, living on a golf course, I find a lot of freebies in my yard.

You will start off horrible so hit the range and get your hand-eye back. Don't work too much other than that. Your old swing will come back quickly. You will break 100 unless your 1st swing is on tee 1.

If you shot 85-95 before but haven't played in 2 years your short game is going to suck big time, PLUS it sounds like lots of on course OB so I will say 96-98 range is likely.

Where you playing colley?

My Pro V1 comment was sarcastic. Personally I use the newer TaylorMade golf balls, they are pretty good for $20/box

I can spin a Pro V1 out of bounds better than any other ball. The way those balls highlight a bad swing is well worth the 50-something dollars per box ;)

I like those new TaylorMades too. I'm also liking these Srixons, the "tri-speed" (not the super-expensive ones)

I know this is illegal in the true rules of golf but I hit cheaper Titelist HP's off the box then hit either Callaway's (I think they are HP Bite or something like that) or Pro Vs into greens. I recreate the lie when switching out balls to get as close to a true score while keeping an eye on cost. Believe it or not but I'm not rich, can't bench 300 and did not run a 4.5 40 in high school.

tried the new ProV1 back in the fall with nice results seemed a little more durable. got my first allotment about 2 weeks ago and shredded the cover, ala balata. good thing was it was still round after 4-5 holes... unlike balata.

until taylor made make the NOODLE TOUR, i'll stick with my ProV1x. mostly because i get 'em for free.

spin the ball? That's nothing, I can throw my club as far as the best of them.

99, no mulligans with 3 pars and a lipped out birdie chance. Very tight course, lot of water, steady wind of 10+mp). I'm happy. Didn't hit any houses. I did hit a few OVER the houses but if I can't see it land, not my problem :D

I'm sayin 98....with 3 windows at risk!
And, BTW, I wouldn't play with my Noodle for 18 unless I was riding.
That's for the 19th hole.
:D
Bridgestone E5...more spin for the old back.

The houses are too close to the course there. Of course, I may need to work on my directional control :D

Well!
Who is the winner, winner, winner???
We know the windows were the looser.

Had a 92 at Torrey Pines North last week.:(
(My highest score in two years)
The pro said that the rough had basically been left alone since the PGA tournament -no rain. The rough (I saw waaaayyyy too much of it) was simply brutal! Fairway looked like a ribbon in the distance.
They were soooo concerned about killing the rough that they wanted us to keep the cart on the fairway, and do a 90 degree towards the rough only!!!
Never....heard of such a thing!
