I started a WAYLT thread and it's doing OK. No mod has removed it yet so that's a positive, right?

I'm getting pretty tired/irritated/disgusted with the whole thing. Yes, some of them are annoying and yes I have told them to quit coming into your party and pooping on the floor. But having people gang up on them just because they can doesn't seem to be that much better behavior in my opinion.

I've got a couple groups running around. This group here is about 25 birds, with 3 nice toms and a couple jakes. The other group usually stays further out back, and there's maybe 35 in that group with a couple monster toms. I normally hunt out back. Besides, by the time April 6 rolls around I'm not going to see the groups anymore. Just the toms trying to round up the hens for their harems.

Man, I'd rather turkey hunt than **** sometimes.

Used to have tons. Now zip. I sprayed all the ragweed and the quail left. I'll see little coveys when I cut hay on my neighbor's place, but nothing like back in the day. I also cut hay over by Maysville, and I've run into a bunch of mommas and babies with the disk mower. I hate when that **** happens.
