with the regional NCAA basketball tournament in town, it was amusing to observe shockingly pale cheerleaders from northern schools lying in the sun in the parking lot of their hotel near my office on Thursday. Fortunately for them, the Tulsa PD is totally committed to their safety - which no doubt explains the motorcycle cops who congregated and overwatched the bikini-clad activity.

Once again, I seem to be in the wrong place. All I can see is dilapidated old house with black plastic over the windows and a steady stream of cars full of off-brand young men coming down the ally, stopping, talking to someone from the house, then driving on.
Not suspicious. Nope. Not one little bit.


But I admit it makes pasty skank seem pretty up-town.

I have a window, so what I see changes with the seasons and weather. On this day, I saw snow and Christmas lights at night. Today, I hear birds singing and I see daffodils. :)
