I'll take a split here and win the majority of our series and we're hosting a regional and superregional. Right where we wanna be. It's not the end of the world.

Looks worse than it really was. If Sietzer hung on to the line drive in the third we get out of that inning with out them scoring or if he had stepped on first instead of trying to get the runner at home we only give up one run that inning. Holding a top ten team to under five runs is not a bad game. We just happened to be on the wrong end of this one. I am surprised how quickly some of you give up on your team. The guy starting for them was their Friday pitcher, one of the top in the country. We (nobody) are not going to score 10 runs on him.

What's amazing to me is that people say things like "I'm amazed how quickly some of you give up on your team." I don't think I see/saw anybody doing anything remotely close to that.

We've had two games in a row where our bats have left us. Yes, we've faced a couple of good pitchers, but good hitters should still be able to put a couple innings together and score a few runs. Also, I believed the number of errors we have been committing was eventually gonna come back and bite us in the ***, and last night was a good example of that happening.

Team just needs to refocus, get a W tonight (or at least make a decent game of it) and get their heads ready for conference play. I know coming off the 16-game streak probably has got some of them down, but it's time they get over it and move on. Besides, being on the East coast right now them suckers cost me some valuable sleep last night.

Being a Red Sox fan since 1978, I think I know a little something about patience and never giving up on your favorite team. OU is doing fine, and can have a great season. I have not given up on them. To lose the undefeated streak was kind of disappointing though.

I thought Seng's 3-1 move that we botched into a run for ASU summed up the entire two game series. We just didn't make the winning plays.

I think we needed some ultra competitive games like this to wake us up though; the early season schedule lulled us into a sense of entitlement I think.

We go to ASU because as it is spring training the stands are packed with scouts and pro coaches and it gives our guys a chance to be looked at. Our guys look forward to this. Nobody seems to mind that we always play San Diego in San Diego. This is not football BCS where the rankings or some early loses means anything.

When i was in school we played ASU at Bricktown...it was right after OSU and we had no pitching. We got beat something like 21-3...but I caught a foul ball by leaping onto the dugout and an ASU player ripped his pants sliding into 3rd, so we got to heckle him pretty good.
