Pretty nice markets, even if they are mostly in Texas...

HEB is the ****! It's the one thing I miss about not being stationed in San Antonio anymore.

And their prices on a lot of things are insanely less than what I pay around here, commissary included. Just about every time I head down to visit my parents, the wife and I stop at the HEB in Waxahachie on the way home and walk out with about $250 in groceries that I know cost about double up here.

Double ??

Yah...with tax and whatnot, I price-compared a LOT of what I bought down there vs. what the commissary/homeland/target/redneck-mart priced it for up here...and it came out to just about double. People say that Oklahoma is cheap for cost of living...IBTD.

United, too. They have a United MArket Street in Lubbock that is just awesome and loads better than anything in OKC.
