CAREER Highlight video for Demarco. It's amazing to see how much talent he showed up with and compare it to the talent he developed while at the University. I enjoyed watching him and I hope you enjoy this video.

I guess all of those injuries had nothing to do with it, Huh?

AD was the epitome of all the Shakespearean tragedies (the bulk being in the 21st century) that Sooner football has encountered. If you have any doubt that he should have been the greatest college running back of all time, go and watch every game of his rookie season, when he could have been playing the Big XII. With that said, Demarco was just as heartbreaking. He was absolutely breathtaking before he jacked his knee up. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zIVl4CaSEo) It's great he was still able to finish with one of the all time great careers at an all time great running back school, but I'll never get over the endless potential he showed in the beginning.

He finished strong. I agree he got hurt a lot, but it seems like these days there aren't many RB's that stay in college football as long as he did. I think he'll make a great NFL RB. He took a lot of punishment physically.

My God, his last injury was a freak helmet to the planted knee injury. Full speed.
I'll not judge too much on the injury prone tag.

Even with all the injuries he could at times flash quite a bit of speed and maneuverability. As seen in the highlights his cuts werent quite as crisp, and his explosion of speed was slightly less, but he was still stunning to watch run, he was definately the type of guy that you never knew what was going to happen.

I guess I don't understand bemoaning "what could have been" for either of these guys. Just enjoy what was.

Whenever I think of DM, I will think of that run against Texas.

I'll always remember his first TD against Texas, and his last TD against Texas.

Anyone remember his first spring? Touched the ball three times for something like 110...
