It looks like the diamond formation is being added in this year's EA NCAA Football 12 video game.

I don't know anything about a diamond formation.

Does NCAA 12 have the Shotbone formation? Because that one's pretty badass if you ask me.

They need to make it so that play action actually works.

They also need to ban Tebow's screaming picture from ever appearing on that game ever again.

They need to just clean house and start over with the entire series. And Madden.

Everyone I know calls it the Arrowhead.

And lemme guess...it's still impossible to run out of this formation since it's a shotgun snap.

Ummm do you live in Canada or New England? Everyone I know calls it Diamond or Shotbone... never heard it called arrowhead before. Interesting.

Two words.

Wildcat Spread.

Run out of that, and you'll make some big plays.

It helps to have a quick QB because the option works well.

Run the sweep with the RB and allow the blocks to develop. You will be rewarded handsomely.

Plus, there is a play with the RB and TE run deep corner routes. Many times, the safeties come up to play the run, the corners stay at home to cover WR's on short curls, and your speedy RB is left man to man with a LB. Poetry in motion.
