AS good as the Rebs were, OU owned them. They beat Billy and the boys something like 101-89 the first time we played and then we won the last 4 or 5. NOBODY could beat Billy in RUN N GUN.You wanted to beat Billy ,the lower the score the better.

We beat them too.

This is true. College basketball entertaining to watch back then. I was trying to think what other teams dared to run and gun with us like them and UNLV?

Just watched the program, enjoyed it. Tark the Shark chewing on his towel!

Arkansas played that way as well but the attention on them was more about the "40 Minutes of Hell" full court press. Most people tended to forget that OU and UNLV played the same style of pressing defense to feed the offense that Arkansas did. Paul Westhead was a bit more offense minded but still tried to press, LMU tried to press like that but just didn't have as much talent most years outside of the Gathers/Kimble season.

The games between all of those teams were always a treat to watch.

Pretty good sports documentary i thought....enjoyed the background and story about Tark....Had almost forgotten what a beast LJ was in the college level....he seems to have fallen off the face of the earth after his NBA days were over. What is he up to these days? I hope he didn't blow all his granma-ma money
