Saw this over at Scout of walk-on, Dominique Whaley

11 ft 1" standing broad
4.4 40
41" vertical

206lbs maybe that is why the guy was a first pick in the Red White game draft last yr

Gundy claims he is the real deal and will challenge to start

Jonathon Miller 4.46
Brandon Williams 4.42
Brennan Clay 4.56-------knew he lacked top end speed those are your winter times

Thanks, Rocko.

Looks like J. Miller is back. There's a lot of speed in the backfield this season.

If Whaley can move like that then he needs to play. I don't care how many 'stars' he had leaving high school. Those are ridiculous numbers to test out with.

Can't wait to watch BW run the football in crimson & cream.

The best player should play no matter how great they were in high school. The backfield is looking really nice going into next season.

Miller's Dad posted recently that JM thought Whaley would suprise some people. I'm hoping for some diamond formations with (JM and Finch) or (Whaley and Williams). Not sure how Clay is going to get much playing time... even though he is listed as the starter???

We heard the same stuff last spring but where was Whaley during the season?

Some slow previously injured guy named Demarco took a bunch of snaps from a lot of players. I am not saying he will get many touches. Personally, I think Miller and Finch will get most of the carries. I'm just reiterating that Whaley is impressive and that Miller even says not to count him out.

I thought he had to sit out because he transfered.

We're not going to have enough (foot)balls next year.

I wouldn't count Clay out just yet. Kid is talented.

I think you're thinking about Brandon Wegher, the Iowa transfer. Whaley is a walk-on.
