My parents were evacuated from their house in Crystal Lakes not long ago. I hope their place is ok.

Speaking of Harrah...

Small earthquake felt near Harrah and McLoud

It was minuscule compared to the earthquake in Japan, but parts of Oklahoma near Harrah and McLoud felt an earthquake this morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reports.

About 4:56 a.m. an earthquake of 3.2 magnitude was felt 6 miles northeast of Harrah and 6 miles north of McLoud.

No damages have been reported.

Lucked out here. The big fire at 15th and Henny was about 2 miles away and the kids school was between that one and the one in Harrah at Luther Road. Lots of blocked streets and spent several hours with some unexpected houseguests, but all is good in this neck of the woods.

Oh, and ST, another reason that OKC>Tulsa. :D
