Well...I'm not a player stalker or anything but I view it no differently that NFL players. I like OU and enjoy watching them play because they get to play out my dreams as a kid. Same with NFL guys. I enjoy watching them play and would gladly tell them I am a fan if I were to see them in person. It is possible to be a fan of some other human being regardless of their age. I guess some of you holier than thou posters *cough* RUS *cough* don't want to be conceived as being "strange" by someone.

With all due respect, I disagree. I don't think it is jock sniffing, at all. It is supporting our student-athletes. Few of us really know what pressure they are under. I never bash our student-athletes, even if they don't perform on the field as expected.

Our coaches are a different matter entirely and are paid professionals and paid very well. They either need to prepare our players, recruit better athletes or step aside so someone better can do the job.

With all that being said, if any of our players are caught engaging in criminal activity or breaking NCAA rules, then they just made themselves open to harsh criticism and they deserve it for blowing a chance to play for one of the most tradition-rich college football programs in the US and its very supportive fans.

But, I don't fault transferring players. Whether they are transferring for more playing time, better coaching and training or a better education, I can't fault them for that.
