ESPN will televise Texas' spring game on Sunday, April 3 at 3 p.m. ET.

The game will be the first of four spring games televised by ESPN. LSU and Arkansas will also have their spring games televised in the following weeks. ESPN3.com will broadcast Florida State's game on April 16, as well.

Will Mack find a way to **** it up and lose this game as well?

They will count it as their first win.

The last time OU had their spring game on ESPN that's where the epic thread from hornfans came out.

"Sam Bradford...Seems like he sucks"

So I hope none of you say anything like that

Does ESPN know how embarassing Texas was last year ? How can ESPN think this game is worth televising after the stinker Texas was last year ?

So Mack was going to count a bowl game victory as win #1 towards the 2011 season. I wonder if he will count this one? Unless the 2s win of course.

Funny you mention that... a few years ago when A&M had a craptacular season their official athletic site counted the spring game as a win... and the Aggie fans melted down over it so much (in ways that only Aggies can) that they quickly changed it. :rcmad:

I liked watching OU's spring game. I remember Demarco Murray getting tons of hype from ESPN after he broke out during the spring game. I don't understand why Bob put an end to it. It's all about OU for the entire day and gives an extra "game" of exposure...

This should be interesting. For all the talk about Mack - turning off the distractions -- this is not one of them. I'm not hearing good things about several areas of Texas team, Oline in particular.

I sure hope that those rumblings are true then. I would love to see the Whorns finish in the bottom half again.

Aren't the 2's "Texas", too? I think we underrate Mack. The cunning son of a gun has found a way to guarantee victory. This one is an assured 'W'. Man that guy is one hell of a coach.

Good deal.I watched last spring. The #1 offense couldn't run on the #2 defense. I had an inkling then they might struggle.

I remember last season Texas State beat UT with 7 on 7 drills. It will be a few basic plays and nothing more. Texas is a waste of time, and Mack Brown depends too much on talent. Stoops over Brown anytime you want to talk player development.

In that 2007 Spring Game Bradford totally outplayed Halze and Grady it was not even close.

Charlie Sheen (Texas' new coach in waiting) will be on the sidelines with Mack.

Together they will invent the new Tiger Blood defense; THEN use it on OFFENSE. Winning?

if the Offense looks really good, it just means you have a BAD defense.
Some win !!

What do you mean? 300 million Americans are more interested in watching to see if there's any evidence that TX can reverse its slide into irrelevance?

I'd wanna watch that spring game too.

No wonder they sucked so hard, that's just askin' for it.

And ditto on Free Shoes, their fans down here are edging toward giddy at the preseason talk. Been awhile for them.
