I can honestly say that reflector has apparently never eaten at a Cheddars restaurant.

Cheddars is one of the most overrated restaurants in the history of the world. I have yet to have anything from there that I couldnt make better myself.

Meh with a capital M.

Thanks. I seriously didn't know what kind of a place it was. Now I have a better idea.

That's the thing with most of those. I can't understand why anyone would wait in line to eat at Cracker Barrel for example. Then I can't understand why anyone would want to stand in line to pay their bill there unless the waitresses really didn't want a tip.

I've only eaten at the one in Norman one time. My sandwich sucked balls, but I have to say the big ol' stack of onion rings were pretty good. Not good enough to bring me back, but OK.

I think Cheddar's is pretty good. The food isn't overpriced like most places and they have quite a bit of variety.

The only thing Cheddar's has going for it is location. They don't set up shop like Chili's, Ruby Tuesdays, Applebee's, etc. They only allow one place in a location. For instance there's only one in Tulsa and that's all they'll allow. If you ever go there, the place is packed all the time. I'd say it's a little better than what you get at Chili's but nothing too special. It's defiantly not worth the hour and 45 minute wait.

Yeah I forgot about the onion rings. Those are actually good.

I used to work at a restaurant in Dallas where the guy that started and owned Cheddar would come in at 5 minutes to close and camp for an hour and a half.

One time he walked in five minutes after close insisting that because the open sign hadn't been turned off that we had to serve him, which we of course did.

Eff him and eff Cheddars.

I put Cheddars in the same category as Crapelbee's.

Trust me, I've worked in food and nothing pisses restaurant staff off more than this. Good way to get your food spit in. He probably thought that since he owned a restaurant, that he knows how things should go when he visits them. Upper management doesn't know how to run the restaurant on the food making level anyways. So many times when I was a cook did the bosses come in and correct us. We would do as they said, but they were always wrong about something being more efficient or cost saving.

The one in Lubbock is okay. I like the onion rings and the lemon pepper catfish is okay if you ask for light seasoning. Prices are reasonable and portions are good. We eat there occasionally

I've eaten at the Norman location twice, each time I've walked away mad that I spent money to eat there when I could of gone to one of the other hundred options in Norman

The one in Tulsa is OK. Spinach dip and chips are good. Nothing special, though.
