i didn't realize the they stopped making them

i do kinda like the idea of the retro style they were going for, but FWD and Chrysler are kinda deal breakers

i thot they were kinda cute @ first, but have gotten old.

My parents had an Aspen for a little while. We liked it until we realized that it was a piece of **** and the dealership had to take it back because it was basically a lemon.

I have a 2004 turbo in that color. I don't know why some people have a problem with them (yes, most of em are driven by people over 55 but that is a good thing) but I love that car.

Because you sit upright they are easy (especially for us in the over 55 set) to get in and out of.

The production run of 10 years with only cosmetic changes means two things. 1: they had time to work out the kinks and 2: there are plenty of spare parts available.

And as for the people who go for the retro look, insurance companies took notice of that as well. Premiums on PT Cruisers reflect that the demographic that drives them are in fewer accidents.

For my wife and I it is the perfect car.

Those things used to be really popular... apparently thought to originally be more economic cars, but then discovered that people bought them because of the oldie style, not for any economical reasons... then they jacked up the price, lol :D

I remember back around 2005 or so that there'd be crimson ones cruising around on gameday with the ice cream truck siren Boomer Sooner blaring, lol

yeah, like the VW Beetle when they first brought them back. i remember when they were like $14k but people in Hollywood and stuff were buying them and the prices went up pretty fast

I bought one for my daughter for her first car.....her friends made fun of it at first, then they rode in it and realized how nice it is. Never had any trouble with it.

I drove an HHR as a rental car one time. At least for me it had the worst sight lines ever.
