Good Luck finding a hotel. I'm sure they are super expensive right now or sold out. I would look outside of Tally.

I hear they don't care what type of hole it is, as long as it's a hole down there

Alot of visiting fans stay in Thomasville Georgia which is 35 miles away.

The FSU football team actually stays at the Holiday Inn in Thomasville the night before home games. Bobby started this years ago and as of last season Jimbo was continuing the practice.

Here's a list of a few locally owned resturants.

Other local resturants Lafagoto's (Mexican), Old Mexico, Granddaddy's (BBQ), Crawdaddy's (Seafood/Country Buffet), Seminole Wind (Country Buffet), Barberitos (Tex/Mex)

Thomasville also has the chain resturants like LongHorns, Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays, Pizza Hut, Domino's, Ryans, Captian D's and all the hamburger joints.

Everything in Thomasville is within 10 to 15 minutes of the hotels.

Yeah, I've gone to FSU games with my dad for years as I grew up a Nole and graduated a Sooner. Thomasville is a great location if you don't mind a small drive. It will cut the cost down substantially, but provides everything you really need. Tally is really a hole when game days come around. You can find stuff like Cactus Inn filled to the brim for 100 dollars a night when regular rates are like 30 dollars for the local hos.

I would have prefered staying there but it was full so went with the Duval instead.

Finally booked a Bestwestern in Madison. I hope it is decent. It's only an hour drive.

lol!! I get to shower FIRST!!! And NO, you cannot order any pay-per-view.

I shouldn't brag, we're in Jax, it'll be a haul, but we're going with some Nole buds here, so we'll have lots of drivers...hopefully even a sober one.;) :D

I used to have to go down to our warehouse in Thomasville (it has since moved to Cairo). Staying at the "Quality Inn & Suites Conference Center" was an awful experience.

WTF? We wanted the Duval, but they said it was booked a month ago. I'll take either one, can't wait.
