Well doesn't that happen in every sport depending on your record? Stir some more stuff up please. And a lot of it had to do with the fact of how he coached, not if he was a good coach. HE would be gone if he wasn't

I admit I wasn't his biggest supporter and yet always supported the team. You can do both.

I am also happy to say that he has been very successful in building a very good program.

Here is the deal, apparently Sonny is a prick. That doesnt matter to most when he is winning and recruiting big time players, his players seem to atleast respect him, if not really like him.

There havent been any people on here talking crap about Sonny for a few seasons now and this place is better for it. He is a hell of a coach and has really gotten OU back in the national spotlight

I always heard Coach G was a chump as well but after speaking with him a few times he seems like a pretty cool dude.
