If you remember....we went through this thing once before when Phil turned off the SPEK Feature. It really made this board the same as every other message board by doing so. I was just getting used to the fact that the HMFIC had made his decision when he suddenly reversed it. That sent some folks who thought they gotten their way into a tizzy and some of them even left. I think it shows what kind of person you are when no matter what happens....you rise above it and make the most of whatever outcome you face in life. Some folks can't deal with someone even hitting them with one red neg while others like Leroid continue to manipulate their way back into the good graces of posters and some how finds someone who either feels sorry for him, or a troll or maybe someone that really thinks every comment he makes is an astonishing work of genius. Whatever it is...he continues to somehow get that spek right back to green. I could put time into figuring out who what or why I guess but I really don't care. He's tried to turn the negs I've given him into some sort of obsession about him but for me it's hard to think I'm obsessed when he is on a constant hunt to respond in every thread.

Now I'm not trying to make this about Leroid or even complain about him because this all seems to have become some kind of game that some play, others avoid and others have an opinion about. Some have even gone as far as trying to make this all some sort of Posse Conspiracy towards them. I don't believe in conspiring about someone as I don't think it's very nice. Usually folks just punch each other in the junk and laugh. Evidently others have taken this personal.

The funniest thing is....every year Bob Stoops takes the field with our Team and a good number of us meet in Norman for one of the greatest experiences life has to offer....Sooner Football. I've been a fan of it since I was a kid and a Fan of this board for over a decade. I've taken the good with the bad and found that everyone I meet at SF.com TGs are some of the nicest most gracious People I have ever met. We all put away our differences for a few hours and hoist a beer and join in the fun of watching OUr boys kick *** and take names. Showing up and cheering them on is my way of giving something not only to the team but to others who aren't able to attend these games. I've seen a number of folks come to the TGs and bring loved ones and friends with them to enjoy the experience.

The off season sucks and people get bored. It happens each and every year and it seems we see folks come and go as posters. Phil and others have been very nice to me and my Family and my kids have experiences that will last a lifetime from all of it.

Some how we all put away our BS and get along. I think we should be able to do it here too. I wish there wasn't as much animosity between posters but it's always been that way. SPEK doesn't do that....people do that.

I've always been able to work through issues on this board when it gets rough...I say it's high time others start trying a little harder to get along too.

Just a thought.
