For my fellow old bastards, Seger is coming to Tulsa's BOK Center on April 28th. If you're interested, tickets go on sale next Saturday at 10am.

He probably doesn't sound that great anymore, but I'ma go anyway. Woot! :D

Pat, Joe Bonamassa is playing in Tulsa I believe this weekend, maybe next.

Joe has more talent in his penis that Seger has in his entire vagina. Just sayin'. Go to Seger, but absolutely go to Joe.

"Against the Wind" vs. "Sloe Gin?" You looze. Like I said, Seger was groovy, but when Joe is in town, you wouldn't even think of going to a Seger show.

Well I mean not if you have a couple dozen brain cells left.

His version of "She caught the katy" was one of the best stripper pole songs ever until Guns N Roses wrote Welcome to the Jungle.

My one and only Seger "moment?" She's got the fire down below at Choo Choo's in Tucson in like 1977. Other than that? Over Rated.

I'm not holding my breath for greatness with him being in his mid 60's but I am still going to go see him. :D

Heh, no. I didn't see him live, I just remember being home on leave from the Army and they played that damn song over and over and everybody was dancing up a storm. It was $5 drink & drown night. Good times...

Bob Seger was overrated and overplayed in 1979.

Seger is selling out all his tour dates. After seeing Eddie Money last year, my advice is go see these guys cuz next year could mean the nursing home for them.

He released a song yesterday from his new album and he sounded better than I thought he would....not as good as back in the day, but hey...who does? :D

It was a fun concert.

You know it's an old act when they hand out fliers with information about heart attacks and strokes after the show. He sang most of our favorites. Rock and Roll Never Forgets (But I Do), Old, OLD Time Rock and Roll, Come To Great Grand Papa. I'm a little upset that he didn't sing one of my favorites, Betty Lou's Getting Gout Tonight.

Bob was a little late getting to the stage. I know it couldn't have been because he was eating because I think I saw him Denny's for the early bird special. I think he was catching the end of a Matlock episode.

He kept asking if we remembered the songs. I'm not sure if he was talking to us, or to himself.

It was an old crowd too. One of the only concerts I've been to where I didn't smell pot in the air. There was the distinct aroma of Ben Gay though. That and mothballs.

So when are you taking your bit on the road, Shecky? That's good stuff.

Just let me know when they get a real act over there. Slaughter or Kix would work for me.

It was a good concert. He puts on a good show, but with his voice, and the way he belts the songs out you could tell by the end of the show he was spent.

This might be his last go round as far as touring goes.

In the last couple of years at the BOK I've seen Springsteen, who was 60. McCartney who was 67, and now Seger was is 66.

They could teach a few of the younger acts how to do a show. But I wonder sometimes if I'm going to the BOK or a retirement home.

Anyone who went happen to see Bob Stoops there? He was supposed to be there according to a news story someone posted on here a few weeks back.
