When he went into Office I believe he did a bit of what you mentioned as he saw the World a bit differently than GWB. I'll always give GW credit for some things....especially since he was wise enough to make sure other Leaders understood he knew what it meant to be POTUS. He was fortunate to have had a Father that was POTUS and Director of the CIA. Obama doesn't seem to be doing that quite as much lately as I think he's really having to decide when, where and how or even if to interfere or just let things ride. As a guy who was young and definitely not as ready as GWB seemed to be.....I think he's beginning to realize he's not gonna get a chance to make our World a Peaceful Place and put an end to conflict. He might even have to start another War and ditch 2 to take care of business in a fresh new mess.

If that's what happens, I guess we'll see just how he treats people of opposite faith. I'd think having Family that aren't Christian make it tough if he's forced to expand activity in the Middle East and Africa.

I know lots of folks don't think he's up for it. I'm hoping he is but I'm not convinced. Hillary Clinton however seems pretty pissed off and I'm not sure she wouldn't like to thin the Earth out as far as men are concerned. :D

I have no problem with saying President Bush was wrong in offering any sort of olive branch to POS. Also have no problem with wondering why Reagan didn't turn that desert dump into glass after the Lockerbie bombing.
