Why do you ask? Waiting to bash the local hillbillies for their choice of watercraft? Doesn't quite add up to your socal standards? I'm learning your deal. Ain't playing.

2001 180 Horizon.. 5.7L (replaced the 5.0L)..the 5.0 does pretty well tubing and skiing..but the 5.7 is much better...

Easy there chet...

I own a pontoon boat which is the quintessential watercraft of most okie mouthbreathers. I just towed it home to clean it up and restock supplies and, while perusing the Bass Pro and Cabela's web sites I decided to ask the fellow Sooners what type of boats they might have...

I am boatless for the first time since before I could drive but am in the market for a used small cabin cruiser. I had either a jon boat or bass boat for 20 years.

Very nice. I like the sink/tables we have. We've started bringing a bbq out on the lake...but we fish more than anything esle.

We put some permanant BBQ grills on the Island where we all hang out, But I would really enjoy the room of the bigger boat. Being able to throw the anchor and just stay the night on the boat would be a bonus.

I sold a 1996 Larson 215 LXi last season. Great boat and great layout of seats.

Probably will get another bowrider in the 23 foot range when Gus gets a little older.

1992 Astro FSX-20. I bought it brandy new in '92. It still runs/looks like it did when I bought it with the exception of a some clouding in the clear coat on top. 20' Fish/Ski Combo, 200 horse Mercury outboard. It still hits ~ 70 with just me in it, and will go 62-64 with 6 people in it. Dual live wells, 24v trolling motor, tons of rod/ski storage. It's a pretty sweet old rig.

It burns 91+ octane and is fuel injected. I've never once drained the fuel or even put stabilizer in it. I've never once ran it out of fuel when trailering, and it still starts and runs like the day I bought it. I've put new fuel/oil lines on it, a couple of water pumps, and change the oil in the bottom end every couple years. I've pulled 3 skiers with it, and nowadays I just enjoy taking the kids/grandkids out and hauling them around in a tube. I rarely even fish anymore since I've got all the ponds/creeks on my property that have better fish than most of the lakes around here do. Sometimes me and momma just go out in the evening and do a 70mph run back and forth across the lake, stop in a cove and drink some hooch, and then get nekkid and howl at the moon.
