Yes, but you will have to rent a cable card from Cox.

Either hook up to land line or have it plugged into your router for innerweb connections.

I have TIVO for my Comcast cable...

If you have a dual tuner DVR, you'll either need two cable cards or a dual cable card. Supposedly the dual one results in a single charge whereas two will result in two cable card charges. I've heard people state that it's hard to get the cable company to give you a dual cable card but it is possible.

I want an HD Tivo as most cable DVR's are crap. I haven't bought one yet because I'm never 100% sure if I'll switch to DirecTv some day (for the NFL package). If Tivo somehow made a box that supported both cable and satellite it would be an easier choice.

you should definitely switch to directv.
