Not the only Clipper returning to Oklahoma last night, here's a link to a WW interview:

There were also tons of Blake-returns-home stories out there, but since we haven't heard much about Willie lately, here's what the news wire turns up:

Feb. 3: CLIPPERS ASSIGN WILLIE WARREN TO D-LEAGUE’S BAKERSFIELD JAM (http://www.nba.com/clippers/news/warren_110203.html)

Feb. 4: Warren leads Jam past Springfield (http://www.bakersfield.com/news/sports/local/x435865482/Warren-leads-Jam-past-Springfield)

Feb. 12: Warren powers Jam past Texas (http://www.bakersfield.com/news/sports/jam/x563852584/Warren-powers-Jam-past-Texas)

Yesterday: Clippers Willie Warren Recalled From D-League (http://www.clipsnation.com/2011/2/21/2006439/clippers-willie-warren-recalled-from-d-league)

Wish ya luck, Willie.

I heard that they weren't real confident that he would stay on the team long. Good for him though.

I hear ya - this is about what Tay Tay was relegated to with the Suns last year, who ended up cutting him in the offseason. However, a player as talented as WW should have a place in the league... even if it's an end-result of players getting locked out and others mostly showing up overweight and outta shape after months of not playing and practicing. :D

hey, it could happen again...

Warren has the talent. Someone would have picked him in the lottery if he had left after his freshman year, and that talent didn't just go away after an injury plagued sophomore year.

Still sounds like a pouting whiner.
