Is he the son of either of the Toal brothers who played at OU in the 70's / 80's? The older one, Artie, was a year ahead of me at OU, and the younger one was there in the mid-80's, as I recall. Any relation?

I will say he's not a frosh -- he's a JUCO transfer from Howard J.C., not that that probably makes a difference in your question.

Yeah, I should have checked that first. I was just going from memory and knowing he is a "newcomer." I don't think it said anything in his on-line bio about his parents, but I can't remember.
