I can't believe people still don't remember that play and the third TD versus Tejas being the same play. the double shifting tight ends is classic "trickeration" and "imaginative playcalling" everyone ripped KW for not showing.

The trickeration is more technical and affects the players and defense on the field mostly. The fans idea of trickeration is a reverse or some "cool" play. Not shifting of players around.

I was just talking about Hanna's speed was a surprise to me but I did notice the double shift.. Herbie said it was one of the best calls all year in college football.. It was a great play and call by KW..

Well, I don't know but Hanna has some speed IMO especially for a TE..:D Anyone know his 40 time ?

Hanna's got good speed for a TE... but it's not hard to look fast when you're wide open.

Hanna was a WR in High School. He's always had wheels.

I heard somewhere a couple years ago that he had a 4.52 forty but i bet is is in the mid 4.6's now not bad though

Good point but he looked pretty fast being chased to the end zone ..

Hanna has been a physical freak since day one, while he has come on as of late, I hope he takes another step and becomes a great TE in our offense, he has the ability.

I love watching the ref on that play. He just finished running all the way downfield on the Kenney TD, then all the way back on the OSU kick return TD and then all the way back again on the Hanna TD. Needless to say, he--the ref--wasn't running a 4.6 on that play.

Same reason DeJuan Miller and Jameel Owens weren't in 2008. Athletically, they're as good or better than what's currently on the field and no one was sure about the potential productivity returning depth. It sucks when you see a guy have a monster year and then you look back and realize he got on the field all of a couple of times during his first year because he wasn't truly ready yet. But, maybe we'll see Haywood involved this year. KW said from day one that he was "by far our best receiving tight end." Reminds me of what he said about Gresham going into 2006.

Is Hanna that fast or OSU that slow?

William Robert said it was because OSU had to chase Kenney AND Hanna, whereas Hanna only had to run that far once.:D

I don't know his testing numbers but he tested better than Gresham.I think dueing the telecast they even mention Wilson reminding Hannathat he tested better than Jermaine and when will you play like it? I think the last 4-5 games he finally made his move.

Has anyone made a Poke joke yet? No? OK, let me.

cough cough aHEM...

Q: Why did Hanna look so fast in the OU-osu football game?

A: Because it's easy to look fast when you're surrounded by slowpokes.

:D
