Horrible, horrible commercials.

I do like the Allstate mayhem commercials. They're pretty good - especially the GPS one.

Geico's have been pretty salty as of late. By switching to Geico can you really save 15% or more on car insurance? What? Do you live under a rock? Lol!!!!

I like my insurance companies to portray themselves as fun and whimsical. It reassures me that if my house gets blown away by an EF5 that they'll be right there to laugh about it with me.

I love the Mayhem commercials. Especially when he's the navigation system. "Turn right...recalculating TURN LEFT NOW!!!!"

The Allstate Mayhem commercials are greatness.

There are just so many insurance companies out there now and most people aren't going to do really extensive research to find out what each of them offers coverage/price-wise, so insurance companies have deployed these wacky commercials to hopefully grab the attention of as many potential customers as possible.
