Read their recap and he was highly upset after their game tonight. Guess due to a phone call and guess he was pretty upset.

Just kinda putting pieces together from facebook, I think he heard news that Wilson Holloway has passed away. He played football at TU and had been battling cancer. I know Blake and Wilson were great friends. Wilson was a great great person. Prayers for his family.

You can read more on Wilson's story here (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/TU/article.aspx?subjectid=94&articleid=20091009_29_B1_Wilson519607&archive=yes) and here. (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/TU/article.aspx?subjectid=94&articleid=20080805_94_B1_hTUFOO933245&archive=yes) The first is on his positive attitude and bringing awareness to the disease and the second was on his recovery process.

It was a battle I think many thought he was going to beat. Alas... :(

I know Wayman was older, but the stories really reminded me of him. Very sad.

Blake was apparently one of the pallbearers at the funeral today.

I looked up more info on Wilson, he sounded like a very special person - the TU offensive lineman and many others apparently all shaved their heads in his honor when he was beginning his fight with cancer.

very sad :(
