Ivan Maisel's always been good to OU. Didn't he rate OU as the most prestigious football program ever when they had that poll a few years ago? And he's a Bama guy on top of that.

I can sum up everything Ivan Maisel said...

Uhhh Uhhhh Uhhhhh ummmmmm Uhhhhhh Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

There's a reason he's a print reporter.

Maisel went to Stanford.

Maisel went to Stanford.

But he grew up in the state of Alabama and I think he grew up a Bama fan. Maybe Sabanball can set us straight.

I love Ivan. I always have. He is a great reporter and analyst and seems like a great man. He is from Bama, but went to Standford. Very Objective. I hope he stays where he is for a long time.

Listend to it, it was awesome for Stoops. Really enjoyed Frank Broyles talking about the wishboen though. As Cecil Semara used to say, "Roll on Big Red, Roll on!!!!!!!!!"

This is the article.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?columnist=maisel_ivan&id=3852829I recall reading that article when it came out,it was great then and still is.The only bone I have to pick with it is the reference to Switzer as a NCAA renegade. There are many coaches who have had as much or more NCAA heat on them as Barry yet are not singled out.Whatever,Barry never let it bother him.

Great stuff thanks

I'm sure he had to through that in there for the masses but still a great article.
