From the way Gundy went about this, he thinks this team will be his best shot at winning the Big 12 and making a BCS bowl. He had his starting QB, Weeden, interview Monken to see if Monken would be the best fit for Weeden.

I'm not familiar with the usual way programs go about picking and interview new coaches, but since when do players (especially college) get to decide who the best fit is for them?

Weeden is there for one more year, and Blackmon will most likely be the same. Gundy, BRO!, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO WHEN THEY'RE GONE?!
