Anyone remember 1978? I was just a little Sooner back then, but I think it was somethin' like 21 days with snow cover. I just remember a LOT of trips up and down the hill on my sled.

What will they do about school? Go til the 4th of July? Or can they "forgive" some of the 180 required?

I bet the kiddies and their parents will love this. Especially is they've already booked their ski trips.

They've already shot down the cancelling spring break idea here in Jenks. Too many ski trips/beach vacations already paid for in advance.

I really wonder if there will still be snow on the ground in April? *sigh*

"personally it looks like it is moving off to the east to me instead of south"

I think the snow coming to Snowklahoma is coming straight east out of NM and the tejas panhandle and won't hit until about midnight

Are you serious? They are renaming the state to Snowklahoma? We're going to be the Snowklahoma Sooners next year? Instead of OU, we'll be Snow U? Have they thought this through? They're going to need to print new license plates and print new "Welcome to Snowklahoma" signs at the state lines.

Damn it. I'm sure it's just a marketing ploy to make us buy new "Snow-U" hats and t-shirts!

Weathermen don't know sh!t, yesterday they said the panhandle would be spared the snow unlike the rest of oklahoma, Well Beaver already has 7 inches.

Go ahead with the jokes.

Hopefully it ends there and we don't get Snowpocalypse 3: Return of the Yeti.

My three year old girl was begging for snow earlier this winter. I told her it doesn't snow very often in Oklahoma. Now who looks like a fool...this guy...

On talk radio, the Eggman is calling it SnopraWinfrey.

Let's see...weatherman just said the low for today is -2, but by next Thursday, look for widespread 70s. Yep, that's about right.

I remember that year VERY well. It was all kinds of awesome. It snowed like every Saturday and Wednesday for several weeks. Much awesome sledding was done that year.

Doubt that will happen. My guess is they'll add time to the end of each school day. No teacher anywhere would go for no spring break.

I was 3. We lived in Wichita KS that year...uuhhhhhgg (shudders). I remember going outside and the snow was over my head. I dug tunnels. Awesome.
