Yeah, Rigel would be neat. Except Earth would probably have to be out in the Kuiper belt beyond the orbit of Pluto for us not to get totally fried by it. I think Rigel is thousands of times the size of the sun and also has 3x the surface temp. :hot:

I've long been fascinated by Betelgeuse. It's visible to the naked eye yet over 400 light years away.

1,300,000,000 suns would fit inside Betelgeuse! Wow!

I was thinking about how the color spetrum related to heat and how blue relates to us. Blue is hot and as things go past blue it leaves our perspective around White and then ultra violet and things that radiate heat we can't see but will kill us begins.

I'm good with the sun we have.
