Hope that this hasn't already made the rounds, I hadn't seen it around here.
This writer thinks Landry will one day win a Super Bowl.

I thing he'll do more than win a super bowl, he'll win a college national championship! :)

I mean look at his past record, 2 state championships in a row. Dude knows how to bring it home, provided he has the rest of the pieces to the puzzle.

He's come up big for us in a young career so far.

His senior year he was the only player on the Artesia team to even get a look from ANY D-1 school.

At the college level he needs the rest of the pieces.

Watching the Super Bowl tonight, I was wondering how Landry and Aaron Rodgers compared in their college careers.

Watching the Super Bowl tonight, I was wondering how Landry and Aaron Rodgers compared in their college careers.

Rogers was only 165 lbs coming out of High school. He went to a JC for a year before transferring to Berkeley. So he bloomed later than landry. But like Landry, he was a big time passer.

Rodgers' Cal stats:

215/349 61.6% 2903 yd 19 TD / 5 INT 146 rating
209/316 66.1% 2566 yd 24 TD/ 8 INT 154 rating

Those are Landry-like numbers. Both players are about the same size.

Predicting who's going to win a Super Bowl when the player is still in college is retarded.

Close to Landry's numbers. LJ threw for 4,700 yards and 38 tds. Just about the same!

While that would be cool, I'm looking first and foremost for Landry to bring home a BCS championship--or two :)

Landry was asked to throw more, but in terms of completion percentages, TD/INT ratios, and QB ratings... yeah, they're similar.

This is meant to be a compliment, since Rodgers just won a Super Bowl ring.
