Looked out my window a few minutes ago and it is snowingWTF? I didn't hear anything on the weather about snow today.

it was snowing here (irving) until about an hour ago.

snowed 4 to 5" overnite.

This sucks. My husband has an opera scholarship competition tomorrow afternoon. I don't understand how school has been cancelled for 4 days, it's snowing again, yet they think it's cool for the competition to go on as scheduled. They've got people coming in from out of town--I don't even know how they're going to get here.

But Summers and Falls are so nice here. And the pine trees, mountains and scenic beauty are worth it.

Yeah, I hear ya! Those are pretty pictures! It's really pretty here too, and only 90 minutes from the ocean or the mountains, but the rain really gets me down in the winter.

I was home in OK the first week of May last year, and the first day I was there it hit 90 with a 30mph wind. I think that we had one or two 90 degree days here all summer, and they didn't happen until July or August. I can't believe that I've been gone long enough to actually miss that heat and humidity! :)

The snow looks so peaceful coming down. I have to get that hot tub installed so I can enjoy those rare times like today. Just gorgeous outside and very little wind at all.
