Parents need to go to the penitentiary, and should never be allowed to own a gun again.

How common? I don't read the news everyday or anything but it's the first time I've heard of something like this involving a 5 year old. Really sad tho. 1 time is 1 too many.

You must not watch the news very much, this is not the first time something like this has happened. I would say at least a few times a year I hear about an elementary school age child bringing a gun to school. At least he didn't shoot anyone Colubine style.

I don't have links, but seem to recall that other similar incidents (maybe not with a gun, but with other weapon) have happened over the last several months to a year . . . and yes once is too many.

Is any "news" really newsworthy? Considering I've been stuck in the house for the past week, I've watched a lot of news. They basically have the same stories on at 8,12,4,5,6 and 10. It's ****ing stupid....even stupider when half of each broadcast is about how much snow is on the ground out there. I don't need the news to tell me that.

No, but if he shows up to school with a butt-plug that wouldn't be real pretty either.

Ya but I been in Palatka, So I was glad to hear about it :D
I was there about 20 yrs ago. Started small talk with a cute CA HS girl that was helping out at her grandpa's veggy stand. She asked where in CA I was from and then she asked "What are you doing here? Palatka is not where it's at."
Enjoyed renting a rowboat and fishing with the gators.

No, you move up to a .38 when your step-daddy graduates from street crack to cocaine.
