View Full Version : my iPod keeps turning itself off

and I don't know why. The battery is charged, I don't have any sleep timers on or anything...it'll play for about 2-3 minutes and then just stop. i can start it back up by turning it back on but it keeps going off. anyone else have this problem ever? it's not a fancy ipod touch, just a plain old ipod.

Battery is dying. Go buy a new one.

Prolly just needs a reset.

Turn it off, then back on again.

Do these things use battery power even when they aren't on? If I go too long without listening, it always seems like it's out of juice the next time I pick it up.

i don't know what I did that fixed it, but it's working fine now. it was also playing one song but showing that it was playing the next one on the playlist...

I assume you have it set to 33 rpm and the stylist is clean, right?

my stylus is clean on my record player, but I can't guarantee the cleanliness of my stylist. He does great hair though.
